Commerce Department: To Maintain Export Growth of Textile and Garment to America

China textiles import and export’s chamber of commerce recently released data, which shows that in 2015, China's textile and apparel exports to the United States rose 6.7% year-on-year, making gratifying achievements. While textile and apparel exports of the whole China fell by 4.9%.
Textile and apparel is a traditional superior industry in our country, in the hope that this year's textile and apparel’s exports to America continue maintaining the momentum of growth, but undeniably there are three difficulties are in front of us:
1. Influenced by the effects of the world economy, decreasing global market demand, t as well as the restriction of the rising cost of domestic factors, the economic recovery is slow. China's textile and apparel exports has been in a drop in overall and slowing growth in exports to the United States. For example, the import growth rate is only 4%.
2. Some low-cost textile and garment industries in Southeast Asian nations occupy our market spaces exporting to America.
3. Some currencies depreciate significantly, resulting in CNY’ upvaluation, and weakening our country’s competitiveness in product price.
